+RESILIENT puts together a 4-helix partnership of 8 MED countries to tackle the need for innovation conducive to increased socially-responsive competitiveness of SMEs & stimulate new jobs, especially for companies operating in the social economy. It aims to kickstart a process of policy change at regional level in the involved areas resulting in the integration of successful elements into the new Cohesion policy (EU2020+). It is an integrated project that establishes a structural approach to policy & practice improvement of emerging dynamics in social innovation through an overarching process based on the intertwined use of open data & the creation of a transnational socially-responsive value chain. This includes studying existing initiatives, adapting and testing, with the final objective of capitalizing them in the MED area. |

The +Resilient web platform OpenSocialCluster.eu was created to function as a central point of communication for Open Data, Open Data tools, E-courses, Knowledge base, and Mapping in the Social economy and Social innovation field. The platform also hosts information about the pilots launched as part of the +Resilient project. Recently a series of webinars on topics such as the Use of Open Data, Supporting Social Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility, Monitoring and evaluation methods for social innovation have been implemented and the platform serves as a repository for the recordings of these webinars. |
THE FIRST SERIES OF WEBINARS SUCCESFULLY IMPLEMENTED |
In the context of +Resilient project, Greek Free Open Source Software Society, with the contribution of all +Resilient partners, has organized 6 webinars aiming at enhancing the project partners’ and stakeholders’ knowledge and experience and prepare them to provide innovative services to the stakeholders of the project in the participating countries (Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Portugal, France, Greece and Albania). The six webinars were held between November 2020 and February 2021. Their scope was the exchanging of knowledge between the partners and the improvement of their skills in specific fields like open data, social entrepreneurship and social innovation. The acquired expertise has also helped the partners to organize the pilot activities and transfer the knowledge to project’s stakeholders aiming at supporting them and tackle specific social difficulties. The partners collaborated on the selection of topics and provided the necessary contribution for the organization of online training sessions. 1st WEBINAR: PRESENTATION OF +RESILIENT OPEN DATA PLATFORM |
The 1st webinar Presentation of +Resilient Open data platform was held on 30th November 2020. This webinar was intended for project partners with the aim to enable them to explore the functionalities of the platform and how they will be able to use the platform and the services provided within, as a tool for the implementation of their pilot actions and transfer knowledge to the stakeholders of the project. |
2nd WEBINAR: IDEATION TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR PUBLIC SERVICE DESIGN AND SOCIAL INNOVATION |
The 2nd webinar Ideation tools and techniques for public service design and social innovation was held on 18th December 2020. The aim of this webinar was to share some basic approaches and methods for social innovation development within the framework of „co-design“. It was addressed to the +RESILIENT partners and the MED Community interested in co-creation of social innovation that addresses challenges that are not currently tackled adequately, with a participatory and integrated approach. It helps the + RESILIENT partners to mobilize and involve stakeholders for their pilot action, transfer and capitalization, but more in general stakeholders in the MED area to work on integrated and sustainable development and social cohesion. |
3rd WEBINAR: MONITORING AND EVALUATION METHODS FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION |
The 3rd webinar Monitoring and evaluation methods for social innovation was held on 15th January 2021. It aim was to support partners of the +Resilient project and the pilot action stakeholders in their evaluation process. It helped them to evaluate their own pilot action by presenting methods and discussing about its practical implementation in each region and by each team. This webinar also served as a first building block on the road to the Living Lab. |
4th WEBINAR: SUPPORTING SOCIAL ENTREPNEURESHIP AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY |
The 4th webinar Supporting social entrepneureship and social responsibility was held on 28th January 2021. The 4th Webinar was focused on business models for social entrepneureship using a modified version of the Business Model Canvas which containes social and environmental perspectives. The business model was used on the innovative social project “The House of Philanthropy “Feel good house” which was elaborated within The Foundation’s pilot action through the Virtual school of social innovation – “Local Philanthropy – an Opportunity for Innovation and employment”. This topic is deemed to be useful both for public and private bodies providing support to social entrepreneurs and also for social organisations (profit and non-profit), therefore covering the range of possible interests of +Resilient partners and stakeholders. |
5th WEBINAR: USE OF OPEN DATA |
The 5th webinar: Use of open data was held on 2nd February 2021. One of the +Resilient supporting legs is the open data technology, which is widely unknown by non-technical organizations. To try to mind this gap, this webinar aimed to spread the knowledge of this technology and to show some uses among the partners of the +Resilient Project and the pilot action stakeholders. This topic is deemed to be useful both for public and private bodies interested in deepening their knowledge of Open Data and its potential usages. |
6th WEBINAR: KEY ELEMENTS FOR SOCIAL DIGITAL INNOVATION |
The 6th webinar Key elements for social digital innovation was held on 18th January 2021. The goal of the webinar was to provide insights on how to identify, generate and consolidate social digital innovation within organizations to make them more resilient. The webinar transfered the results of the transnational study produced by the +Resilient project and counted on stakeholders with expert knowledge on social digital innovation. The specific objective of the webinar was to provide analytical and practical tools on how identify social digital innovation. |
